Located on First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek in Cameron County, PA 32 miles upstream from Renovo, PA and about 8 mi above the confluence of the First Fork Sinnemahoning and Sinnemahoning Creeks. Primary purpose of the project is to provide flood control for the downstream reach of the First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek, the Sinnemahoning creek downstream of Jericho, PA and the West Branch Susquehanna River downstream of Keating, PA. Secondary project purpose is water-related recreation. George B. Stevenson Dam sits near Sinnemahoning, PA and is monitored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers NAB district.
