Bass
- Best windows: first light and the last 2 hours before dark (especially on wind-blown banks).
- Start shallow (2–8 ft) early with spinnerbait/chatterbait or squarebill; slide deeper (10–20 ft) mid‑day with jig/texas rig.
- If flow is very low or very high, slow down and target depth/cover near stable water.
More on Bass
- If the bite is tough, switch to finesse: shaky head, drop shot, or weightless stickbait.
Bass relate to structure and cover. Use wind to your advantage (bait pushed into banks), and adjust depth based on light and activity. If releases are extreme, prioritize safety and fish slower, more deliberate presentations near protected water.
